Safe, Reliable Tree Removal Service in Clarks Summit, PA

Nobody likes the idea of cutting down a beautiful, mature tree. But when a tree dies, gets infected by a severe disease, or starts leaning dangerously toward your home, it transforms from a lovely part of your landscape into a massive liability. We are your trusted local experts for safe and efficient tree removal service in Clarks Summit, PA. We know that taking down a huge tree in a residential neighborhood can be nerve-wracking for a homeowner. That is why we bring the right heavy equipment, expert safety protocols, and a friendly, communicative team to get the job done without a single hitch.

Precision Tree Cutting Service

When you search for a tree service removal, you need a team that respects your property. We don't just start a chainsaw and yell "timber!" Taking down a large tree next to a house, a fence, or a garden requires careful planning. We specialize in precision dismantling. Our expert climbers go up into the canopy and cut the tree down piece by piece. We use heavy-duty ropes and rigging pulleys to gently lower the heavy logs and branches to the ground. This means your roof, your driveway, and your prized flower beds stay completely safe and untouched.

Recognizing When It’s Time to Say Goodbye

It isn't always obvious when a tree needs to be removed. Our professional tree service team can help you evaluate the safety of your tree.

We look for key warning signs like:

  • Deep, vertical cracks running down the main trunk.
  • A sudden, severe lean that has developed after a recent storm.
  • The canopy is completely bare of leaves during the spring or summer.
  • Mushrooms or fungus growing around the base of the roots (a major sign of internal rot).If we spot these issues, we will walk you through the safest way to extract the hazard.

Complete Cleanup and Care

We believe that a great local tree service leaves your yard looking better than they found it. We don't just leave a pile of logs in your grass. We run all the messy brush through our wood chippers, load the heavy trunk sections onto our trucks, and sweep up the sawdust. When we drive away, the only sign that we were there is a brighter, safer yard.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does a tree removal service cost? The cost depends on a few things: how tall the tree is, how thick the trunk is, and how close it is to your house or power lines. A simple tree in an open field is much easier and cheaper to remove than a dead tree leaning over a glass sunroom. We always provide a clear, honest, and free estimate before we start any work.
  • Do you use cranes to take down trees? Yes, we do! If a tree is completely dead and rotting inside, it is too dangerous for our guys to climb it. In those cases, we bring in a crane. We strap the tree to the crane, make our cuts, and the crane safely lifts the huge pieces of wood right over your house and into our trucks.
  • Do I need to be home when you cut the tree down? Not at all. As long as we have clear access to your yard and any pets are inside, you can go to work or run errands. Our crew will handle everything safely and leave your yard perfectly clean for when you get back.
  • What happens to the stump after you cut the tree down? We cut the trunk as close to the ground as safely possible. If you want the stump completely gone so you can plant grass, we offer highly affordable tree stump grinding as an add-on service to make the stump disappear entirely.

Clarks Summit, PA Insights: Population,
Zip Codes, Influence, and Service Areas

The first settler in the area currently known as Clarks Summit was William Clark. Clark had fought in the Battle of Bunker Hill during the Revolutionary War, and as payment for his military service, he was issued 800 acres (3.2 km2) of Pennsylvania land by Congress. Because of disputes between Pennsylvania and Connecticut over the area of land that is now northern Pennsylvania (resulting in the Pennamite-Yankee War), the land deed issued to Clark was deemed invalid by the Luzerne County land grant office. Clark had no choice but to pay for the land himself. In March 1799, Clark and his three sons moved into a log cabin in the Abington wilderness, located on what is currently the Clarks Green Cemetery. The first school was built in 1893 and was destroyed by fire two years later. The village of Clarks Summit and an adjacent tract of land were incorporated into the Borough of Clarks Summit on August 30, 1911.
